Respawn Entertainment, founded by developers who left Infinity Ward, which made the Call of Duty series Call of Duty, made the Titanfall series to reinvent the old FPS genre. The game, which contains interesting details such as gigantic robots, double jumping, wall crawling, was highly appreciated, and Titanfall 2 was released.
Apex Legends, on the other hand, stands out as a kind of Battle Royale game set in the Titanfall universe. However, in Apex Legends, there are no details such as giant robots Titans, double jumping, walking on walls that we are used to seeing in Titanfall. Although robots called Titans are in the game, Apex Legends has managed to catch an air of itself. Accordingly, it is available for free with players. How could Apex Legends get any better?
Apex Legends, which was very popular and reached millions of players after its release, contained different content compared to other Battle Royale games. The details in Apex Legends that make it different from other games are as follows.
Happy Hour: One thing that keeps players returning to playing their favorite online game Apex Legends is the ever-rising cycle. Theres nothing like seeing the XP bar fill up and reaching a new level. One of the coolest features of the multiplayer game in Titanfall 2 is that its Happy Hour. Its great to gain double XP, level up twice as fast for a set day time. Not only does the bonus give the XP incentive, but the player count remains at its highest during these times, so finding a match should be no problem at all.
Instant events: Limited time events are great, but daily, weekly challenges are even better if the goal is to get people to revisit Apex Legends regularly. Completing a certain number of kills with a certain weapon adds a layer of challenge to the game. Additionally, Apex Legends could borrow entirely from something like Dead by Daylight, which has character-specific diaries that take advantage of the rosters unique abilities.
New modes: Special events aside, what if Respawn dropped something like a traditional team deathmatch mode for Apex Legends? Of course, this will mean that the game is no longer exclusively a battle royale experience, but the shooting mechanics are good enough to merit showing off in capturing the flag or controlling the point mode.
Better stats tracking: Ive played close to 300 Apex Legends matches and won seven in total. Its currently impossible to keep track of your total wins. Sure, you could see how many times youve won with a full suit for each character you play, but even then theres some guesswork out there, its kind of hard to figure out your win-loss record that way.
Maps: Fortnite has been using the same map for a year and a half, with minor changes to the landscape from time to time. (This crater thing was stupid.) It could also change the Apex Legends map, probably at some point down the road, but even better is the introduction of multiple maps. Hell, maybe if Apex Legends does, Fortnite will be inspired to follow suit, adding new maps for its dedicated fan base.
