Officially debuted in 1997, Blood caused us to experience exciting moments and nightmares in our childhood. The main hero of the game, which has an extraordinary horror story, is also quite different from the heroes we are used to. As our hero Caleb starts the game, he rises from his grave and greets us with the line I live again. A gunslinger in his previous life, Caleb, while a member of a cult called The Cabal, witnesses the sects top rulers being betrayed and murdered by the dark god Tchernobog they worship. When he returns to earth as a living dead, he embarks on a brutal journey to take revenge on Tchernobog.

Blood was an FPS game with very original ideas in it. In the game, we could play a Japanese castle match with zombie heads, and watch our enemies run around by firing a flare. Bloody weapon options such as the Voodoo doll offered us alternative ways to defeat our enemies. The fact that Caleb, the hero of our game, broke the classic stereotypical hero stereotypes and offered us a dark hero option, added to the enjoyment we got from Blood.
