NX Studio is a detailed program designed to view, process and edit photos and videos taken with Nikon digital cameras.

Combining the photo and video imaging capabilities of ViewNX-i with the photo processing and retouching tools of Capture NX-D in a single comprehensive workflow, NX Studio provides tone curves, brightness, contrast adjustment, which you can apply not only to RAW but also JPEG/TIFF format image files. Includes editing tools. It also offers various features for tasks such as editing XMP/IPTC data, managing presets, viewing maps showing shooting locations based on location data added to images, and uploading images to the internet.

• Viewing Pictures: You can view pictures in thumbnail view and quickly find the picture you want. Selected images can be viewed in a larger size in a single frame to check fine details. There are also multi-frame view options that can be used to compare images side-by-side. You can also compare before and after views of the same image to evaluate the effects of adjustments.
• Filters: Pictures can be filtered by rating and tag. Quickly find the pictures you want for a more efficient workflow.
• Enhance Pictures: Photos can be enhanced in a variety of ways, including adjusting brightness, hue, and other settings, cropping images or processing RAW images, and saving the results in other formats.
• Export Images: Enhanced or resized images can be exported in JPEG or TIFF format. The exported images can then be opened using other software.
• Uploading Pictures to the Internet: Upload pictures to NIKON IMAGE SPACE or YouTube.
• Print: Print pictures and give them to friends and family.

NX Studio can be used not only to enhance photos, but also to edit videos. The location data included in the images can be used to display shooting locations on a map.

• Video Editing (Movie Editor): Trim unwanted archive or merge clips together.
• Location Data: Location data included in images can be used to view shooting locations on a map. Also import road logs and add location data to images.
• Slide Shows: Watch as a slide show of pictures in a selected folder.
