With Portable Update, you can download Windows updates and back them up to your USB disk. This way, you wont download the updates again when you just install your Windows operating system.

Downloading Windows updates is pretty easy with Windows Update. However, since Microsoft does not offer the possibility of backing up updates in Windows operating systems, you have to deal with repeatedly downloading large updates. This will negatively affect your quota.

At this point, Portable Update finds all the necessary updates for your Windows operating system, downloads them and assigns them to its own cache folder. Portable Update is a small program. The program downloads 83 MB of files for the first time - necessary for the program to run.

Portable Update, which has a simple interface, is very easy to use. The History tab displays the updates installed in your Windows operating system. To see the necessary updates for your computer, go to the Search tab and click the Start button. When the search is complete, go to the Download tab, select the updates and click the Start button to start the download.

Finally, you can go to the Install tab and install the updates you downloaded by clicking the Start button again. All Windows updates will be copied as .CAB files to the programs Cache folder. By copying this folder to our USB disk, we complete the backup of Windows updates.
