ZSNES stands out as the most successful emulator for playing Super Nintendo games on PC. This emulator, which grew in the shadow of Snes9x in the first days of its release, managed to take the number one position with its advanced interface and new features that are increasing day by day. This emulator, which supports the largest part of the game library, only creates problems when playing Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Apart from this, games such as Star Fox, Donkey Kong Country, SMW 2 and Tales of Phantasia, which are supported with extra chips, work with ZSNES.

Another feature that makes this emulator unique is the variety of filters you can add to the in-game images. It is possible to completely destroy the pixelated image with the use of these graphic filters. If you like to play fighting games, it is also possible to make special moves with macro commands.

You can use Game Genie and Pro Action Replay codes, as well as save these runs according to the games. Two of the most interesting features of ZNES, which also has in-game recording and loading options, is that you can cancel any audio channels or video layers. Thus, it is possible to extract the necessary material for a photo editing work, or you have the opportunity to remix the music playing in-game.
